We trusted Rackley to protect our home, and instead we’ve been left with leaks, rot, and mold.
Before hiring them, our roof had been inspected and found to be in good condition, only requiring its first routine maintenance. After Rackley’s work, leaks began almost immediately, though we didn’t see visible water intrusion for nearly 20 months. Their “fix” was simply to redo the same work they performed in 2022, ignoring the now-blackened structure underneath. From there, every storm brought a new leak. What should have been a straightforward repair, based on the pre-purchase inspection, turned into a nightmare. When we raised concerns, rather than taking responsibility, Rackley turned to lawyers offering a small monetary settlement with a gag order to silence us. Instead of standing behind their workmanship, they shifted the story to claim we “bought a bad roof,” a narrative that only appeared after we questioned their work despite our inspection reports, photos and Rackley’s own review before we even made an offer on the house. Homeowners and business owners deserve honesty and accountability. Our experience with Rackley was the opposite. Their legal team’s tactics and Rackley’s own arrogance are what ultimately emboldened us to speak about this publicly. Attached is a clear example of Rackley attempting to conceal damage silicone applied directly over rotted wood instead of making proper repairs. If you are considering them, I strongly encourage you to look closely at independent reviews, ask for detailed documentation, and proceed with caution.
